Size 4 mm (U.S. G or 6) crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge. Green pipe cleaners. Hot glue gun.

DISHCLOTH A
Motif (make 4).
With A, ch 3.
1st rnd: (RS). 6 hdc in 3rd ch from hook. Join with sl st in back loop of first hdc.
2nd rnd: Ch 4. [(Yoh) twice. Draw up a loop. (Yoh and draw through 2 loops on hook) twice] twice in same sp as last sl st. Yoh and draw through all 3 loops on hook – Beg Tr Cluster made. *Ch 5. [(Yoh) twice. Draw up a loop. (Yoh and draw through 2 loops on hook) twice] 3 times in back loop of next hdc. Yoh and draw through all 3 loops on hook – Tr Cluster made. Rep from * 4 times more. Ch 5. Join with sl st to top of Beg Cluster. Break A.
3rd rnd: Join MC with sl st to any ch-5 sp. Ch 2 (does not count as st). 6 hdc in same sp as sl st. *(3 hdc. Ch 2. 3 hdc) in next ch-5 sp. 6 hdc in next ch-5 sp. Ch 2.* 6 hdc in next ch-5 sp. Rep from * to * once more. Join with sl st in first hdc.
4th rnd: Ch 2 (does not count as st). *1 hdc in each of next 9 hdc. (1 hdc. Ch 2. 1 hdc) in next ch-2 sp. Rep from * 3 times more. Join with sl st to first hdc. Fasten off.
Sew 4 Motifs tog into a dishcloth.

Edging: 1st rnd: Join A with sl st to any corner. Ch 1. 5 sc in same sp as sl st. *1 sc in each of next 11 hdc. 1 sc in next ch-2 sp. Draw up a loop in same ch-2 sp. Draw up a loop in next ch-2 sp. Yoh and draw through all loops on hook – sc2tog made. 1 sc in each of next 11 hdc.** 5 sc in corner. Rep from * twice more, then from * to ** once. Join with sl st in first sc. Break A.

With MC, ch 58.
1st row: (RS). 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook. 1 sc in each ch across. Turn. 57 sc.
2nd row: Ch 1. 1 sc in each of next 27 sc. Draw up a loop in each of next 3 sc. Yoh and draw through all loops on hook – sc3tog made. 1 sc in each of last 27 sc. Turn. 55 sc.
3rd row: Ch 1. 1 sc in each of next 26 sc. Sc3tog over next 3 sts. 1 sc in each of last 26 sc. Turn. 53 sc.
4th row: Ch 1. 1 sc in each of next 25 sc. Sc3tog over next 3 sts. 1 sc in each of last 25 sc. Turn. 51 sc.
5th row: Ch 1. 1 sc in each of next 24 sc. Sc3tog over next 3 sts. 1 sc in each of last 24 sc. Join A. Turn. 49 sc.
6th row: With A, ch 1. 1 sc in each of next 23 sc. Sc3tog over next 3 sts. 1 sc in each of last 23 sc. Turn. 47 sc.
7th row: Ch 1. 1 sc in each of next 22 sc.
Sc3tog over next 3 sts. 1 sc in each of last 22 sc. Join MC. Turn. 45 sc.
Cont in this manner, working sc3tog at center of each row, working in stripes as follows:
8th to 11th rows: With MC.
