Lily® Sugar’n Cream (70 g/2.5 oz; 109 m/120 yds)
Main Color (MC) (01628) Hot Orange 1 ball
Contrast A (00002) Black 1 ball
Contrast B (01712) Hot Green 1 ball

Size 5 mm (U.S. H or 8) crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge.

GAUGE
13 sc and 14 rows = 4 ins [10 cm].

INSTRUCTIONS
With MC, ch 11.
1st row: 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook. 1 sc in each ch to end of ch. 10 sc. Turn.
2nd row: Ch 1. 2 sc in first sc. 1 sc in each sc to last sc. 2 sc in last sc. Turn.
Rep last row 11 times more. 34 sts at end of last row.
Next row: Ch 1. 1 sc in each sc to end of row. Turn.
Rep last row 11 times more.
Next row: Ch 1. Draw up a loop in each of next 2 sc. Yoh and draw through all 3 loops on hook – sc2tog made. 1 sc in each sc to last 2 sc. Sc2tog over last 2 sc. Turn.
Rep last row 11 times more, joining B at end of last row. 10 sts rem.
Next row: With B, ch 2. 1 hdc in first st. *1 dc in sc 2 rows below. Miss next sc (behind dc). 1 hdc in next sc. Rep from * to last st. 1 hdc in last st. Turn.
Next row: Sl st in each of first 5 sts. Ch 8. 1 hdc in 3rd ch from hook. 1 hdc in each of next 5 ch. Sl st in next st. Sl st in each st to end of row. Fasten off.

Eyes (make 2)
With A, ch 10.
1st row: 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook. 1 sc in each ch to end of ch. Turn. 9 sc.
2nd row: Ch 1. 1 sc in each sc to end of row. Turn.
3rd row: Ch 1. Sc2tog over first 2 sc. 1 sc in each of next 5 sc. Sc2tog over last 2 sc. Turn.
Rep 2nd and 3rd rows twice more, then 2nd row once. 3 sts rem.
Next row: Ch 1. Draw up a loop in each of next 3 sc. Yoh and draw through all 4 loops on hook - sc3tog made. Fasten off.

Mouth
With A, ch 29.
