MEASUREMENT
Approx 9” [23 cm] square.

MATERIALS
Lily® Sugar ’n Cream® (70.9 g/2.5 oz; 109 m/120 yds)
00010 (Yellow)
or 01699 (Tangerine)
or 01740 (Hot Pink)
or 01628 (Hot Orange)
or 01742 (Hot Blue) 1 ball

Size 4.5 mm (U.S. 7) knitting needles or size needed to obtain gauge. Cable needle or size 3.5 mm (U.S. E or 4) crochet hook.

GAUGE
20 sts and 26 rows = 4” [10 cm] in stocking st.

Beg = Beginning.
Center dec = Slip next 2 stitches as if to K2tog. Knit next stitch, then pass slipped stitches over knit stitch, leaving center stitch on top.

K = Knit.
K2tog = Knit next 2 stitches together.
P = Purl.
Pat = Pattern.
RS = Right side.
RH = Right-hand.

Proceed in pat as follows:
1st row: (RS). K3. *P3. K3. Rep from * to end of row.
2nd row: K3. *K3. P3. Rep from * to last 6 sts. K6.
3rd row: K3. *P3. Center dec. Rep from * to last 6 sts. P3. K3. 33 sts.
4th row: K6. *P1. K3. Rep from * to last 3 sts. K3.
5th row: K3. P2. *Insert RH needle from front of work into center dec st from 3rd row and draw up a loose loop. Place this loop on RH needle. P3. Insert cable needle or crochet hook into front of same center dec st from 3rd row and draw up a loose loop. Place this loop on RH needle. P1. Rep from * to last 4 sts. P1. K3. 45 sts.
6th row: K3. *P3. K3. Rep from * to end of row.
7th row: K3. *K3. P3. Rep from * to last 6 sts. K6.
8th row: As 6th row.
9th row: K4. ssk. *P3. Center dec. Rep from * to last 9 sts. P3. K2tog. K4. 33 sts.

11th row: K3. P3. Insert cable needle or crochet hook into front of ssk st from 9th row and draw up a loose loop. Place this loop on RH needle.
