1st row: (RS). With MC, K4. *K1 (wrapping yarn twice around needle). K3. Rep from * to last st. K1.
2nd row: With A, P4. *Sl1P (dropping extra loop). P3. Rep from * to last st. P1.
3rd row: With A, K4. *Sl1P. K3. Rep from * to last st. K1.
4th row: With A, K4. *yf. Sl1P. yb. K3. Rep from * to last st. K1.
5th row: With A, as 1st row.
6th to 8th rows: With MC, as 2nd to 4th rows.
9th row: With MC, K2. *K1 (wrapping yarn twice around needle). K3. Rep from * to last 3 sts. K1 (wrapping yarn twice around needle). K2.

Next row: (WS). Cast off 4 sts. K6 and leave these 6 sts on a st holder. Cast off center 18 sts. K6 and leave these 6 sts on a st holder. Cast off last 4 sts.
Make handle: With RS facing, join MC to first 6 sts on st holder. Cont in garter st until work from cast off edge measures 4" [10 cm]. Cast off. Place marker on side edge of handle 1" [2.5 cm] above cast off edge of Dishcloth.
With RS facing, join MC to rem 6 sts on st holder. Cont in garter st until work from cast off edge measures 4" [10 cm]. Cast off. Place marker on side edge of handle 1" [2.5 cm] above cast off edge of Dishcloth.
Sew cast off ends of handle tog. Fold handle in half and sew
edge tog between markers.
